- Help us to fully take advantage of state of the art cloud technologies and platforms and integrate those in our current platform
- Have a significant role in the improvement and further development of our production environment
- Work with the team to move from continuous integration to continuous deployment and integrate state of the art configuration management
- Help us eliminate all manual or repetitive work through automation
- Help us improve our monitoring system and leverage from it to measure and improve performance, stability and maintainability of our systems
- Take an important part in troubleshooting our IT-Systems
- Integration of public cloud providers in our current environment
- Improvement of our automated testing environment, deployment pipeline and production systems
- More than 3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in Fintech, e-commerce and/or startups
- You’ve worked with public cloud providers (e.g. AWS) in the last few years and have set up and/or migrated complex applications on these platforms in a senior position
- You have extended knowledge in configuration management (e.g. Ansibe, Saltstack)
- Profound knowledge of setting-up and maintaining container virtualization (e.g. Docker) and deploy processes matching this methodology
- Build systems and automatic deploy processes (Jenkins/Maven) isn’t a new challenge for you
- You have strong skills in programming languages like Python and/or Groovy
- You have a self-managed and service-oriented work approach
- Your English is fluent
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience in monitoring systems (e.g. Icinga2, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk)
- IT-Security know-how (Linux/Java web applications/Apache2/PostgreSQL)
- Setting up big data process with Apache Storm/Spark/Hadoop
- General overview about newest trends in DevOps/System Administration sphere
- German would be cool, but hey nobody is perfect
- Working experience with Stash/Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Wordpress
