Riffsy is seeking a Site-Reliability engineer with 5+ years of experience (excellent candidates with experience scaling to millions of users will be considered). Ideal candidate has experience scaling at a small-to-medium sized startup, and must be able to implement features independently from end-to-end, has a strong sense of initiative, and is passionate about creating clean, readable, and reusable code. The dream candidate would be a team player yet independent, a creative problem solver, and has a willingness to solve any problems when they arise (willing to be “on-call”).

Here Are The Kinds Of Skills We Are Looking For

• AWS (scaling from millions to tens or hundreds of millions of users)
• Python
• Infrastructure and Scaling/Scalability Experience
• Object-Oriented Programming
• Server-Side and Back-End Development
• Consumer facing product Experience

Bonus Points If You Have Experience Working With/on

• Java, C++, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, or other Object-Oriented Programming Language
• Web Services and API Development
• Video Codecs
• Tool Development and Automation
• Architecture and Database Design
• Database Engineering
• Shell Scripting
• Linux or other Unix-like Operating Systems
• Computer Science Degree
