We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our growing global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role will involve developing the building blocks to scale the Coupa Cloud for our growing customer base, continue to deliver high performance and availability as Coupa expands globally, and provide security and privacy in compliance with global laws and regulations. This is a hands-on role.

This position will report to the Director of Cloud Operations.
Responsibilities include:

Administration of Linux machines, Web servers, Application servers, Databases
* Application and infrastructure support for customer environments
* Tools development and automation using Ruby, Rails, Capistrano, etc. to increase availability and performance
* Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
* Collaborate with Product and Support teams to plan and deploy product releases
* Support Sales demo environments
Requirements:
*
Bachelors Degree
* 4+ years of professional experience
* 4+ years of production system administration and web operations experience
* 2+ years of experience with programming using Java, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby or equivalent
* 2+ years of experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Salt or equivalent
* Experience in massive scale web operations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
