Job Duties/Responsibilities: Provide technical engineering support /Inventory analysis to the MRO Services team Perform Gap Analysis on current storeroom inventory % versus the department business plan and implement the department’s business plan. (Reliability Engineering – Reduce inventory via obsolescence or Min/Max adjustment Provide Technical Leadership related to equipment spare parts on Plant Investment projects understand how to cross reference electrical & mechanical components Assist Team Manager with monitoring & documenting department effectiveness (QCD analysis) Ability to review process & lay out flow for improved effectiveness in each MRO SVC responsible areas inventory Management Repair Mgmt, Tool Cal. & Repair Mgmt, PIV Fleet Mgmt, MRO Shipping/Receiving Dock Operations) Review storeroom layouts, then plan & initiate activities to ensure the most efficient use of space in MRO SVC storerooms Responsible for ensuring all documentation is properly completed and retained (PSS SHEETS, Op Stds, MSDS) Ability to transfer parts to/from HMA from/to other plants Ability to work with other departments to determine minimum inventory level that will provide needed spare parts for equipment repair, & set up via MCMS into inventory Lead cross functional team through inventory rationalization on new and existing inventory to reduce HMA inventory valve   Daily Tasks:    Investigate and countermeasure No usage parts, and CC overages Investigate opportunities to obtain Cost Saving & Avoidances through understanding of HMA’s required inventory levels Perform IUT between Plants & Tank Farm usage Follow up on all DTRs submitted by storerooms, and review analysis of countermeasure activity Review Backorder MSR & Open PO status to ensure parts availability Review analysis of repair activities and provide recommendations to affected departments Review PSS sheets and provide departments with alternative parts in addition to OEM recommendations Support aTM in overseeing an on-site contractor PIV Fleet Mgmt, Took Mgmt, Inv.
