You will manage and provision highly available infrastructure, scale databases with billions of records, improve our build and deployment processes, provide production support including monitoring and alerting, create efficiencies through automation, and make architectural contributions.Requirements BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent Management and scaling of databases with billions of records (PostgreSQL, HBase or MongoDB preferred) Experience scaling systems to support thousands of requests per second Strong AWS infrastructure experience Linux expert Experience with automated infrastructure deployment systems such as Saltstack, Docker, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc. Interest or experience with Docker and immutable infrastructures Programming experience with at least one interpreted programming language Entrepreneurial spirit and a preoccupation with staying on top of industry technology Benefits Stock options.
