Job Details

A leading entertainment/media company is currently looking for a Site Reliability/ DevOps Engineer to add to their growing team as a fulltime employee. They are changing the way that consumers enjoy their free time.

The ideal candidate would have a combination of skills in heavy Linux server environments, automation with Chef/Puppet, cloud environments such as AWS/Openstack-Rackspace as well as Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo. The right candidate must have experience in developing cloud platforms and the willing to build out a cutting edge system built on a fresh OPEN-SOURCE environment. Experience using Linux and Ruby/Python is a plus as well.

Required Skills

·       5+ years’ experience as a Linux System Engineer/DevOps Engineer/Cloud Engineer

·       Experience in cloud programming platforms using AWS, Rackspace or Azure

·       Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Salt for configuration management tool for automation required.

·       Large server environments, and web facing experience with apache/nginx required

·       Experience with heavy system automation and scripting (either Python, Ruby, or Perl)

·       Load balancing tools like BigIP, Squid, Varnish a huge plus.

·       Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo/Hudson desired.

·       Big Plus- Monitoring with Splunk, Appdynamics, graphite, Nagios, cacti

·       Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment where you will be self-motivated/highly autonomous.

·       Must have experience with networking and security at a moderate to expert level.

·       Big Data/ noSQL are big plusses. (MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra)
