Responsibilities Fandango seeks an experienced, talented, and passionate Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to join our IT Operations team as a high level individual contributor. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert on DevOps practices and procedures, primarily with Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities: • Implement tools for automating deployments to Windows servers (AWS and on-premise) • Create solutions to improve performance, scalability, and reliability • Work closely with development teams to support continuous integration and deployment • Solve problems quickly and automate processes • Monitor site stability and performance • 24x7 weekly on call rotation Qualifications/Requirements • 5+ years of hands on systems administration experience on Windows platforms • Experience using AWS in a production environment • Previous operational experience at large scale web sites • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell • Passion for monitoring and metrics • Experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet • Knowledge of load balancing topologies and experience with hardware load balancers (A10, F5, Citrix Netscaler, etc.) • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server • Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team • Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the company’s sole discretion • Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
