The Chemical Engineer is responsible for the day to day operations and long term operational viability of this chemical manufacturing facility. This position will provide technical and operational leadership for the site.

  • Appropriately identify, develop, and evaluate potential value creating opportunities.
  • Apply engineering skills to improve plant operations, plant reliability, plant technology, and management systems and develop innovative and low cost alternatives.
  • Respond to quality concerns from customers.
  • Use data to make sound decisions.
  • Use and ensure compliance with the appropriate approved work processes.
  • Troubleshooting of processes, process control, and manufacturing equipment.

  • Regular interaction with other groups including plant operators, EH&S, Maintenance and Logistics. Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering field (mechanical or chemical engineering preferred).
  • Three to 15 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Strong technical skills. Salary: $80000
  • $105000 Unless noted above, applicants MUST be authorized to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship. NO relocation assistance for those living outside the continental US.
