We are looking to hire outstanding individuals to join our team of Site Reliability Engineers. Build and run the platform that delivers Apple’s services to all of it’s customers around the world. Help us build the Apple experience on a global scale.

Responsibilities Will Include

Leveraging skills to measure and deliver world class availability.

Building software and systems to manage network infrastructure and applications through automation.

Building software and systems to measure, monitor, and optimize network availability and service levels.

Network capacity planning and management.

Collaborating on and influencing designs and architectures.

Troubleshooting, issue resolution, remediation programs.

Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward, getting ahead of our customers’ needs, getting people incentivized to transform, innovate, and relentlessly pursue availability.

Education Details

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Key Qualifications

4+ years experience in network design and implementation

4+ years supporting high-volume customer facing networks at an L3 level

Expert level experience with multiple network equipment vendors

Expert level understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6

Expert level BGP and OSPF

Administrator level knowledge of and comfort working in *nix environments

Proficiency in modern development languages such as Python, C++

Experience developing tools and automation to drive efficiency in operations tasks

Experience developing metrics and telemetry to measure and improve availability

Expert level troubleshooting skills

Experience with L2 technologies such as MLAG and VPC

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Participation in on call rotation
