Completions Engineer V
Summary Designs and executes of completions operations, including but not limited to hydraulic fracturing design and operation. Responsibilities:
- Works as part of a cross-functional team in the development of oil and gas assets.
- Designs horizontal and multilateral well completion strategies.
- Models completion performance.
- Optimizes completion and workover designs and operations.
- Prepares cost estimates and assesses risk in terms of probability and potential remedies.
- Selects equipment and provides cleanup/flow-back support during well test operations.
- Prepares contingency plans and work-overs for new wells.
- Provides consultation, training, mentoring, and support to lower level engineers.
- Participates in HSE efforts and ensures achievement of team HSE goals.

Directly supervises wellsite operations and personnel Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) in Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years related experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Knowledge of frac simulating software, nodal analysis software, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Other Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in well site completions and/or remedial operations.
- Advanced knowledge of horizontal/multi-lateral well bore design, smart well completions, completion equipment selection, reliability, and well test equipment selection.
- Experience with design and planning early stages of well completions, including, tubular design, materials selection and integration of equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.
- Innovative with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel 35% of the time both domestically and internationally. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
