Reliability-Project Engineer
Experis is partnering with our client, a Textiles Manufacturer, to identify a talented Reliability Project Engineer to join their Mesa, AZ team.
The Reliability- Project Engineer provides maintenance support and project management services to produce high quality materials in a safe, cost effective manner while maintaining excellent safety, human relations, and environmental standards.
The Reliability- Project Engineer will operate within the organizational structure to provide reliability support services. The person in this role will interact with all staff and local, site, and global management and colleagues. They will provide guidance and leadership to various teams. They will be knowledgeable of Corporate Reliability Requirements and related Manufex work processes. They will analyze performance data and take action to improve asset utilization. As Project Engineer the person will manage, coordinate and supervise execution of projects in accordance with DSM SP or LCP work procedures.

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
Monitor and analyze repetitive maintenance problems. Determine the root cause for equipment failures and initiate equipment or procedural changes to correct the problem.
Translate BG / Plant Management objectives into a Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Plan (PPM), in cooperation with maintenance management. Continuously develop and optimize the PPM, achieving maximum availability of the plant against the lowest costs.
Propose and initiate solutions to eliminate actual and potential performance killers and cost drivers and discuss with stakeholders (maintenance, production, business, etc.). Ensure handover to appropriate work process.
Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMECA (Failure Mode & Effect Criticality Analysis). Responsible for life cycle of electrical and instrumentation components, review specifications of equipment and spare parts and recommend replacement for obsolete parts, following change control. Develop plans to reduce COGS by continuously improving efficiencies, processing times, reducing labor and material costs, reducing maintenance costs and controlling expense budgets.
Maintain compliance with environmental programs. Promote waste reduction and recovery projects and incorporate associated operations in applicable manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities to minimize waste and to recycle.
Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements.
Knowledge and educational level
MS in related technical field (Engineering or other physical science) with 3 years industry related experience; OR BS/BA in related technical field with 5 years industry related experience.
Required level of experience
1.Experience with industrial equipment such as centrifugal and gear pumps, multiple style gear boxed, mixers, vessels, piping systems, valving, motors and drives, furnaces, heat exchangers. 2.Experience with good maintenance practices for equipment installation, preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. 3.Experience with predictive maintenance; Vibration analysis, Thermography, Oil analysis, Ultrasonic Leak Detection, Motor Circuit Analysis. 4.Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills. 5.Diversified knowledge of multiple engineering specialties * including mechanical, chemical, electrical and civil. 6.Experience managing projects in excess of $200k * meet deadlines/budgets and drive projects to closure.
Experience in textiles/laminates or composites is highly preferred.
