A leading entertainment/media company in North San Diego is currently looking for a Security Site Reliability/ DevOps Engineer to add to their growing team as a fulltime employee. They are changing the way that consumers enjoy their free time.

The ideal candidate would have a combination of skills in Security, large Linux server environments, automation with Chef/Puppet, cloud environments such as AWS/Openstack-Rackspace. The right candidate must have experience in security and SRE as well as a programming background.

Required Skills

·       5+ year’s experience as a SRE Security or DevSecOps Engineer

·       Strong ability with: Vulnerability detection and remediation, O/S Hardening and Security related Patch management, Web Services hardening and penetration testing

·       Strong programming experience with C/C++/Java/Bash or Python required.

·       Experience with Monitoring with Splunk, Appdynamics, graphite.

·       Release engineering experience

·       Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment where you will be self-motivated/highly autonomous.

·       Must have experience with private clouds.

·       Big Data/ noSQL are big plusses. (MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra)
