M-GO is currently seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our operations team. 

The skills + experience + qualifications essential to the Site Reliability Engineer role at M-GO are:

  • 3+ years of hands on systems administration experience on Linux platforms
  • Previous operational experience at web companies; strong understanding of the HTTP protocol
  • Strong scripting skills in at least two languages (bash, python, ruby, perl, etc.)
  • Passion for monitoring and metrics; ability to leverage data to make informed architectural and infrastructural decisions 
  • Experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet
  • Knowledge of load balancing topologies and experience with hardware load balancers (A10, F5, Citrix Netscaler, etc.)
  • Strong background with relational databases and database administration, preferably with MySQL
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL data stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase, etc.) ​M-GO is the premium digital video on demand (VOD) service created as a joint venture between DreamWorks Animation and Technicolor.
