Description

This position serves as primary point of contact for quality initiatives supporting a product area or manufacturing function.  May supervise a medium to large sized group engaged in inspection, quality control and reliability activities.

•Oversee Fast Response and general problem solving processes  • Lead root cause identification initiatives for area assigned   • Oversee 7 Diamond & Red X projects  •  Maintain change management requirements for area(s) assigned  • Assess and lead implementation of quality control initiatives   •  Serve as lead resource for customer concerns; Oversee containment effort    

• Lead efforts to improve quality metrics for area(s) assigned  •Ensure compliance to PFMEA’s and PCP’s  • May handle site audit requirements    •  Champion GMS and BIQ requirements

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of Quality Control processes  •  Advanced understanding of statistics and  process variation  • Strong technical aptitude • Knowledge GMS Principles

• Demonstrated  problem solving ability   • Ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data    

• Strong leadership and  communication skills  •Ability to develop teams

•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience  •ASQ certification      

•Advanced degree preferred       •Technical degree  preferred
