Site Reliability Engineer

Full Time Role in Atlanta, GA

Our client is looking for engineers with real world experience designing, implementing, and operating large scale web infrastructure. Our client is growing our traffic and our engineering staff and we need engineers who can help evolve our platform to scale for both.

Requirements

5+ years experience administering large web infrastructure
Comfortable with network architecture
Proficient in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, Perl, etc)
Can tune the Linux kernel for high network traffic
Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud
Production experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Familiar with software development lifecycle
Container technology such as Docker and/or rkt
Able to focus on the why as much as the how

Bonus

Development experience in Go
Practical knowledge of unit and integration testing tools/frameworks
Container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and/or Mesos
