Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an Asset Reliability Engineer at our Camden, SC facility. As an Asset Reliability Engineer you will be part of a team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of site assets.  These assets include all types of pumps, pressurized vessels, boilers, vaporizers, autoclaves, compressors, steam piping, process piping, heat exchangers, and process equipment. You will perform/assist in vessel fitness for service and piping inspections as per American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, develop replacement/repair plans from inspection reports, and also support projects for new equipment installations. You will have input on project design reviews to insure new assets are designed for reliability and maintainability. Our reliability engineers work closely with Site Maintenance to develop asset maintenance strategies, implement improvement projects, conduct root cause failure analyses and assist in asset overhauls and turnarounds. We are seeking a qualified candidate who enjoys working in a team environment, passionate about maintenance, results oriented and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.  

Responsibilities Generally Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Ensuring Environmental Health & Safety compliance of the equipment and operation.
  • Provide Reliability Engineering support to Maintenance and Operations
  • Maintain understanding of current and emerging reliability centered maintenance (RCM) technologies and evaluate their applicability to site programs
  • Support site safety and training initiatives (maintain maintenance / engineering job procedures, participate in RCA incident investigations)
  • Perform engineering functions as determined by expertise and experience (machine design and equipment modification specialist)
  • Collect, track and analyze reliability data on site equipment and continuously work to improve equipment reliability while minimizing maintenance cost.
  • Provide engineering design support to site capital projects, particularly with respect to Design for Reliability
