Shift: M-F 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting Manufacturing Technical and Reliability engineers with engineering specification & document control for minor projects (typically 50K to 1M). Specifically, prepare specifications for mechanical integrity and quality assurance plans on projects.
  • Plans will be based on corp requirements, relevant design codes, design standards, pipe & valve codes, inspection and testing requirements.
  • Prepare procurement ready equipment specifications, per Site Engineering requirements.
  • Insure that project engineering documents (equipment specifications, test and inspection information, calibration & check out documentation, drawings, etc.) are properly stored in site engineering document systems.
  • Expectation is to learn multiple Site systems for storing and retrieving engineering and technical specifications and documentations.
  • Expectation is to quickly become proficient at preparing project specifications and supporting concept review meetings, design review meetings and following documentation related to receipt and install of equipment as needed.
  • Expectation is that this position will work with the Project Leaders and Technical Leaders to support 15 to 50 minor projects, depending on the size.
  • Knowledge of design, procure, install process for multi-discipline industrial processes is a must.
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.
  • Must communicate with a wide range of colleagues across the site: Technology Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Production Specialists, Engineering Leaders, Project Designers, and Maintenance Engineers.

Qualifications

  • Responsible for performing and participating in engineering analyses, technical reviews, calculations and planning functions.
  • Projects can focus on building new facilities or improving existing ones and typically range in size from (less than $250 thousand to $2 million).
  • Plans, leads, and manages all or a portion of the respective engineering activities associated with the assigned capital projects over the total project life from inception to utilization.
  • A member of a project group and is accountable to Engineering Management who offers guidance to assure functional excellence, competency and development.
