Minimum Requirements

B.S. Mechanical, EE, or Chemical Engineering; 5+ years of experience with rotating equipment experience such as turbines, compressors, pumps, actuators, centrifuges, etc. Candidates will ideally have experience in chemical manufacturing, pulp and paper, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing or some closely related industry. Candidates must know predictive and preventive maintenance techniques, CMMS, and would ideally have worked on small projects.

Job Description

This person will work in a medium to large * sized chemical plant using reactors, compressors, pumps, valves, heat-exchangers and tanks. This person will be focused on improving site reliability and maintenance, will total responsibility for finding problems and solutions to those problems. Once a problem area is identified, this person will oversee contractors, will repair the equipment as needed, and will keep plant management and corporate management informed of the progress. This position reports to the Reliability Engineering Manager. This role is bonus eligible and relocation assistance is available as well. This is one of 5 chemical manufacturing site that this company owns. Bachelor of Science
