Site Reliability Engineer
We are looking for a talented, driven, and dedicated Site Reliability Engineer. We have a never-ending need for innovation in order to meet the needs of our ever-changing environment. You’ll help maintain our growing infrastructure, ensuring our site stays up and performs well all while refining our process for operating our production environment. You will have authority in designing and implementing the network, hardware, and software systems we use to host, conduct, and monitor our production environment. Additionally, you have a strong desire and aptitude to learn new technologies as needed to keep up to speed with our customer needs.Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and support a multi-vendor network infrastructure in data centers, and enterprise environments, consisting of routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide troubleshooting support for complex hosting and enterprise network environments.
- Collaborate deeply with a cross functional team of Network and Security Architects, Software Developers and Engineers, Server and Platform Engineers, and Data Center Operations. You will do more than just maintain a network.
- DevOps for network infrastructure as well as systems infrastructure.
- Support networking infrastructure for VOIP systems.

Mentor junior team members.Requirements:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in OSPF and BGP implementation and troubleshooting in both carrier and hosting environments
- Expertise with Cisco and Brocade routers, switches, firewalls and Arista switches.
- Expertise identifying and mitigating DDoS and other network based attacks.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and research problems of a complex nature, make judgment decisions and recommendations and lead the implementation into a production environment.
- Extensive experience using Network Management/Monitoring tools (e.g. RANCID, Nagios, observium, librenms, netflow, etc).
- Strong desire to learn emerging technologies and to innovate.
- Skilled with Bash and at least one other scripting language (Python, Perl, PHP etc).
- Experience with configuration management systems (eg. Puppet, Chef, Saltstack, etc) and version control (eg. git, svn).
- 5+ years Linux Administration experience.
- 5+ years of relevant networking experience.
- Experience with Linux HA, clustering and load balancing solutions.
- LAMP deployment and administration skills.

Deep understanding of how TCP/IP and the Network stack functions.Pluses:
- Expertise in Transport technologies, such as MPLS in a provider environment.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience with iSCSI and Nexenta or ZFS.
- 3+ years working in a large scale hosting environment.
- Experience working with LVE containment solutions.
- Prior work using any of the following: Cassandra, Hadoop, Hive, ElasticSearch, Kibana, LogStash, Openstack, Spacewalk, Jenkins.
