  • Continuous delivery infrastructure that enterprises trust for their mission critical cloud application security As a member of this team, you will be responsible for automating software deployment, developing and scaling data ingest pipelines, building and running big data analytics cluster at massive scale, global data centers that run custom high performance hardware, developing auto-scaling system to smartly utilize thousands of servers, building global scale load balancing and monitoring for uptime and performance. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, automate and operationalize software updates with zero downtime.
  • Build and automate and secure application configuration, auto deployment and provisioning services
  • Develop innovative ways to smartly measure and monitor application and infrastructure health
  • Work with engineering and product management to architect and build features that are highly available, high performance and secure.
  • Interact with the Engineering for supporting/maintaining/designing backend infrastructure for product support
  • Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades and monitoring through modern DevOps tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Openstack Script)
  • Create fully automated global cloud infrastructure, that spans across multiple regions.
  • Automation is a part of your daily functions, so thorough familiarity with Unix Bourne shell scripting and Python or Ruby is a critical survival skill.
  • Participate in 24×7 operation support and on-call rotation

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of production environment, Devops or IT Infrastructure
  • Hands-on working with private or public cloud services in a highly available and scalable production environment.
  • Linux, Virtualization, Orchestration
  • Knowledge of Linux systems administration and architecture
  • Strong development experience in Automation using Python or other language.
  • Understanding of networking and network virtualization required.
  • Extensive experience with Linux systems, virtualization, and network administration.
  • Experience improving performance of our web applications and solve scaling/performance issues
  • Built tools and automation that eliminate repetitive tasks
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Salt, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Glu.
  • Experience source control tools such as GIT/Github, SVN, or Perforce.
  • Experience with big data infrastructure like Hadoop, Mongo DB and large SQL deployments is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems a big plus.
