Senior Scala Engineer

The international leader in healthy lifestyle change is looking to hire a Scala Engineer. This company is looking to leverage technology and lead the way in the health and wellness industry with a new emphasis on analytics, mobility and digital solutions. The engineering team is aligning itself with this philosophy, and they are seeking Scala Engineers to build a new product technology platform from the ground up. The new platform will be an integral part of the company’s transformation and its re-imagined product offering

Required Skills

Minimally 5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years’ experience Scala and exposure to well-known frameworks (Akka, Kafka, Play)
Experience with web services API technologies
Experience working with NoSQL database like Cassandra or MongoD
Experience working in an agile environment
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
