We are looking to hire outstanding individuals to join the Process Engineering team, a cross-functional group supporting the Site Reliability Engineering organization with process and tooling. SRE owns Apple’s internet services and operates the full stack underneath them. We’re looking for people who like to solve operational problems using software rather than shell prompts as we scale Apple’s services for customers around the world. Help us build the Apple experience on a global scale!

Responsibilities Will Include

Building software and systems to manage infrastructure and applications through automation

Deployment, support and monitoring of existing and new services, platforms, and application stacks

Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward and solve tomorrow’s problems not just today’s

Education Details

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Key Qualifications

Experience with distributed systems in a production operations environment

Advanced experience with programming (Python/Django, Java, Ruby/RoR), and building enterprise applications; strong front-end skills and a good sense of visual design a plus

Experience with massive environments, and automation design principles

Experience with DevOps tools, processes, and culture

Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that are easily maintainable, understandable, and diagnosable

Able to write clear and consumable documentation

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams

Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time with high quality
