We are looking for the next member of our Web Operations team, responsible for maintaining a complex management service. We are looking for a fast learner with a broad range of experience, a “Jack/Jill of all trades”. Please find a list of the skills required to be successful in this role.

Web Operations

  • 6+ years production Linux SysAdmin experience
  • 2+ years production administration of Java applications
  • System security and hardening
  • Proficiency in at least two scripting languages (bash, python, ruby preferred)
  • Solid understanding of IP Networking
  • Experience configuring and monitoring network components (Firewalls, LoadBalancers, L3 Switches)
  • Management and scaling of centralized logging infrastructure
  • Configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible/Salt/CFEngine/Puppet/Chef)

Desired

  • Jenkins CI administration experience
  • DevOps experience (tool creation, release pipeline automation)
  • PKI and Cert/key management at scale
  • Data Warehouse experience (HDFS, Druid, Impala)
