MailChimp is seeking application-focused engineers to join our Site Reliability Engineering team. As part of our team you will work directly with developers building our products and ensuring that performance, stability, and reliability are a core part of every release. The SRE team ensures operations run smoothly by implementing strategies with proven success and solidifying the approach for deploying large scale web applications.  The team also acts as a technical liaison between the Development and Operations teams within MailChimp. You are an engineer with strong Linux, independent problem-solving skills, and a deep love for automation, monitoring, and configuration management.  Someone with experience in Web application development would also be a plus. You are able to contribute as an active member of a Development unit while coordinating with our Infrastructure team to ensure products are built to handle our scale and future growth. You are not expected you to have used every tool we use, but a solid conceptual understanding is fundamental.
