Corporate Site Reliability Engineer - Tools

Your skills should be in automation and software engineering. This position will be primarily focused on developing tools for automating the team’s systems. You should have a passion for “automating everything!” You would be cognizant about how destructive the wrong script can be for a network, and you will find ways to ensure only the good happens. Your understanding of systems and system security is desired, as well as your ability to code. Responsibilities
- You will work with other Corporate SREs to understand difficulties of current processes and how you can automate them
- Understand system automation so you can assist in implementation across Dropbox Corporate systems
- Develop and maintain automation that is stable and extendable
- Participate actively in code review process, posting scripts, and incorporating feedback, as well as reviewing automation submitted by other team members

Participate in an on-call rotation for network issues (once every 5 weeks or so) Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer/engineering related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ year professional experience in system engineering or software engineering
- Strong coding skills in an object-oriented language, (Python preferred)
- Strong experience in developing systems and toolsets
- You are able to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced high-performance environment
