Assist in the design of fault tolerant and scalable architecture for our live event sales spikes.Currently we use AWS, Scalr, Chef, New Relic and Sumologic. We are looking towards the future post data center migration and bringing in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and improving our service discovery and data pipeline. We’re approaching 1000 servers across our environments (700 in AWS).We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, understands the cultural movement of SRE and is interested in agile methodologies and how to improve performance in product development organizations. Required skillsRequired Skills:

  • 4+ combined years of experience as a System admin, Software Engineer, Devops Engineer or SRE
  • 1+ years of AWS experience
  • 1+ years of experience with configuration/image management (such as chef, puppet, ansible, salt, packer or docker)
  • Prior experience performance tuning of Linux OS and web applications
  • Ability to read and write working scripts and build automation workflows, including use of version control software.   If you have the above skills you may be the right fit to help Ticketfly finish our migration to AWS and take on the challenges of containers and multi region architecture.   • Python or Ruby
