Job Summary

This position will provide leadership, training, promotion, enhancement and support for the maintenance activities within assigned site.

Job Duties

  • Development of systems and best practices associated with world class manufacturing and testing automation with a strong relationship to the ongoing operation and maintenance of production assets.
  • Development of systems to ensure reliable operation of equipment, reduced production interruptions and consistently high levels of part repeatability and quality.
  • Coordination of projects and provide technical support on new and existing machine tools for the production operations.
  • Direct involvement with new equipment selection, approval drawings, component specification, recommend spare parts attainment, maintenance training requirements, preventive maintenance recommendations, manual and documentation procurement.
  • Provide facilitation / technical leadership to maintenance work groups.
  • The individual in this position will also be responsible for expense budget management and attainment of additional Maintenance.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with hands on with CNC machines and assembly systems experience required.
  • Experience with controls such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc.
  • Hands on maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of processes required to trouble shoot, design and repair high speed manufacturing system
  • Knowledge of PLC languages (AB/Siemens preferred)
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Budget and cost control experience
  • PC skills
  • SAP/AS400 (preferred but not required), Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices Work Environment

Plant environment, metatarsals required.

Additional Details About Temporary Assignment Employment

This is a temporary assignment (approximately 18 months) with Harley-Davidson at the Menomonee Falls, WI facility. You would be an employee of PMC Recruiting and we assign you to Harley-Davidson. You would be paid an hourly wage. Any hours worked over 40 in one week is paid at time and a half. You must be able to pass a drug and background screen. There is no health insurance offered.
