  • Containerization of our stack using Docker and AWS ECS
  • Integration with monitoring systems (e.g., DataDog)
  • Continuous deployment with CircleCI and AWS CodeDeploy
  • Scaling our ElasticSearch cluster
  • Serve as point person for logging and monitoring all our core systems
  • Write code to improve our tooling, monitoring, orchestration, and deployments

  • Provide site reliability and development operations   REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+ years development experience with back-end technology
  • Expert knowledge of Docker and AWS ECS
  • Expert knowledge of monitoring and error handling
  • Strong awareness of performance bottlenecks and other considerations

  • Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you   NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience with Java and Scala
  • Experience with ElasticSearch
  • Experience with Zookeeper, Docker, Chef or Puppet
  • Experience with Ansible, Jenkins or CircleCI
  • Experience with Vagrant, Boto, Fabric, New Relic or Logstache
  • Experience dealing with APIs and third party services
