Within just eight years Käuferportal has developed from a start-up to Europe´s market leader in connecting customers with providers of complex goods and services: 1.2 million customer queries, 350 employees, 5 locations throughout Europe and an annual volume of orders of more than 500 million euros. But we have not reached our goal yet!

In cooperation with our new partners ProSiebenSat.1 and General Atlantic, we are working on developing Käuferportal from a HIDDEN CHAMPION to a great brand.   • As an Operations Engineer (m/f) you ensure that our platform is highly available and meets the requirements of our customers and colleagues
  • You actively improve our AWS-based setup
  • You support basic database administration tasks on AWS and classical database servers
  • You develop and maintain alerting and monitoring solutions
  • You have successfully achieved an academic degree in Computer Science related studies or obtained comparable knowledge in other ways
  • You have at least three years of experience with High Availability solutions in a Linux environment
  • AWS has been part of your professional life for more than two years and you can maintain container based deployment processes
  • You have worked with Open Source SQL Databases (like PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL) before and know how to set up and maintain advanced scenarios
  • You feel at home on the command line and have an excellent understanding of modern Internet technologies
  • As a plus: You have programming knowledge in Ruby, Bash or Golang
  • Your organizational and analytical skills allow you to work with a strong focus on finding solutions
