Desired Skills and Experience

  • Design, build, and manage complex AWS infrastructure implementing cost effective, automated, secure, and scalable principles
  • System administration including server configuration, batch management, and
  • Building automated solutions for application builds and deployment and internal IT processes
  • Maintain highly secure environments and implement best practice security standards
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance, errors, and usage
  • Application testing and automation
  • Technical support for company product involving log analysis, integrations, and database administration
  • MS or Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2+ years of Systems Administration / DevOps
  • Strong programming/scripting knowledge (C#.NET, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, Python, JavaScript, etc)
  • Database management (MySQL preferred)
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • AWS experience (emphasis on CloudFormation, VPC, IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch)
  • Security background
  • Production / operational management and monitoring for Windows
  • Configuration Management
  • Quality assurance methodologies, workflow, and process
