The Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer works as a key member of the software technology development team supporting the entire development lifecycle.  In this role, the DevOps Engineer manages the development infrastructure focusing on performance, reliability, security, and scalability. YOU will also be responsible for ensuring that our various server systems and infrastructures remain stable, and continue being on the cutting edge.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3 years of experience in DevOps or IT operations
  • Experience designing, deploying and operating large scale environments
  • Experience with networking, firewalls, load balancers, TCP/IP
  • System Monitoring and Alerting
  • Security hardening and scanning
  • Strong experience with Linux system administration
  • Experience with Windows system administration
  • Orchestration/infrastructure as code (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell)
  • Version control systems (Git, SVN)
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work toward task completion
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
