The Product Manager is the voice of the customer and is a crucial member of the Agile Scrum Team to ensure that products and features are executed according to the product vision. The Product Manager’s key responsibility is the product backlog as well as the prioritization of stories and defects, and is empowered to accept new stories and defects into any given development sprint cycle.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Have a vision of where to take your product
  • Understand the product’s business model including its value proposition and the desired business benefits
  • Carry out product roadmap planning
  • Collaborate closely with the development team and the Scrum Master / Coach
  • Describe the desired user experience and the product features, and capture them on the Product backlog
  • Determine what needs to be done next and select the right sprint goal
  • Select the appropriate research/validation technique to expose the product increment to the right people including customers, users, and internal stakeholders
  • Analyse the feedback/data gathered, derive the right insights, and action them. This usually results in a changed Product backlog
  • Look after the budget, and understand the project progress
  • Coordinate the product launch activities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or technology field
  • Experience dealing with integration business logic and workflows to ensure data integrity with outside companies
  • Solid understanding of RTB, Big Data, Analytics and Cost Effective advertising methods/ products
  • Agile Product Management experience desired
  • Experience with online / mobile advertising products is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize among competing market opportunities in a rapidly changing industry environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels and functional groups within the company
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English
