Responsibilities:

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and application issues, networks, file system access, etc.
  • Support and manage telecommunications (phone/data)
  • Research and implement hardware and software updates for supported systems
  • Track inventory of all company owned IT assets (endpoints, servers, network gear, etc.)
  • Identify automation opportunities, design and develop automation solutions to improve operations efficiency
  • Configuration management for development and production environments
  • Working with developers to inplement features and services for monitoring
  • Configure and integrate software development tool chain to support continuous integration
  • Thorough understanding of Linux system administration in supporting end users in a fast-paced environment - working with a startup organization
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Sys Administration, DevOps or related
  • Experience in a range of technologies and environments and the ability to objectively weigh up which tools are right for the job
  • A strong understanding of the development process from design through to deployment and maintenance and what that means for day-to-day development
  • Willing to acquire new skills, multitask and work on projects outside of immediate area of expertise.
  • Experience maintaining continuous integration environments with build Automation tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with job scheduling and load management software for HPC/cluster computing.
