Reporting to the Lead Systems Engineer, you will contribute to defining the technology strategy, including; architecture, technologies used, standards and processes.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of AWS deployment, configuration and monitoring
  • Minimum of 3 years of Linux system administration experience and familiarity with common Linux command line tools
  • Broad knowledge and experience of java application deployment, system integration and performance management
  • Exposure to entire web application stack
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / Hudson or equivalent)
  • Experience of creating and supporting both monitoring and log analysis tools
  • Agile or a keenness to adopt Agile principles
  • Solution focused, with demonstrable problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Good written and verbal business communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients
  • University degree educated in the field of Computer Science
