Key Qualifications & ResponsibilitiesThe position plays a key role in a fast-paced development environment to facilitate quality and efficient product development via test automation and continuous integration. You will bring strong scripting skills in a language like Ruby, Python, PHP, GoLang and understand how to test their code in an automated fashion.  You are comfortable navigating and working in Linux Operating Systems.  We use AWS extensively, so it is important to be familiar with it. Knowledge of web applications and technologies which support them including css, javascript, etc. is important.  This is an opportunity to be part of a team that builds highly interactive applications that connects thousands of businesses with their customers.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3 or more years’ experience as a software developer, automation engineer or software tools engineer.
  • 2 or more years’ experience with Linux Systems Administration, or related work.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team oriented environment.
  • Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and fully understand the concepts behind it.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker.
  • Experience with Git, Apache, Linux Operating Systems, SQL.
  • Worked extensively with configuration management solution tools such as puppet, chef or Ansible.
  • Has written applications in Ruby, Python, PHP or GoLang.
  • Get things done attitude, where many small projects won’t deter you from finishing much larger ones.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
  • Enthusiasm for understanding and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Motivated and assertive in learning and taking ownership of projects.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Jenkins Pipeline.
  • Experience with CD pipelines with Jenkins or other CI Systems.
  • Extra points if your familiar with building microservices, designing RESTful APIs, configuration management tools (puppet, chef).
  • Worked in a BDD team.
