As Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for the provisioning, administration, and security of all of our privately hosted hardware. You will also be in control of packaging and the deployment of applications from the development teams, holding them to the highest standards.

  • Ensuring 24/7 availability of real-time, low latency global data.
  • Designing, building and allocating resources as required by applications
  • Managing internal tools (LDAP, CI, Jenkins, Puppet, Foreman, Hadoop)
  • Ensuring redundancy and DR for all products and services
  • Helping automate deployment and packaging of products working closely with development teams
  • Working closely with other engineers to ensure best practices
  • Responsible for maintaining release standards, reporting directly to the CTO
  • High level of linux (CentOS) knowledge, work well in a distributed team
  • Keen to improve your knowledge, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced Scripting/programming using best practices
  • Knowledge of Windows servers
  • Knowledge of network optimisation (internal and external), & love a challenge to make networks faster on a global level
  • Automation of system builds and maintenance - with tools like Puppet and Ansible
  • Good knowledge of Scala/Python development (or other core language)
  • Excited about designing and building distributed and scalable systems
  • Hold European passport or have free movement within the European Union. Ability to fly unrestricted within the EU.
