Nor1 is seeking a new member to join our close-knit technology team and lead us in hyper-scaling our integration pipelines across the travel space.  Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and data scientists.  Own integration development from ground zero to 1.0.  Explore and test new ideas to continuously improve integration pipes and processes.  Ship code that immediately converts to product revenues.  

Responsibilities

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Plan, develop, and deliver secure and reliable connectivity between an ecosystem of disparate systems and products
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all aspects of integration development is managed connectivity and automation
  • Provide technical consulting internally and externally
  • Cultivate strategic IT relationships with Nor1 customers and partners
  • Triage technical / product issues in the field; follow-through and memorialize resolution for stakeholders
  • Explore and develop new means of connecting systems and products
  • Desire to write and deliver software solutions effectively (Python a plus)
  • Experience with developing backend, API, or middleware services
  • Knowledge of Internet and network protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, TCP/IP, etc), modern web architectures, and the respective tools of the trade
  • Expert SQL, ETL, and data management skills to optimize existing integration pipes
  • Experience with sensitive data, information security, and access control protocols a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills; desire to own and find root causes
  • Composure under pressure and agility to move at the speed of business
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills to engage business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter with an enthusiastic bias to action with an eye for detail and ability to work without prescriptive procedures or guidelines
