We’re looking for a talented Systems Engineer who has the experience necessary to help build out our hybrid infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. We’re a growing company with a team of highly dedicated IT professionals who demonstrate superb technical competency and ensure highest levels of availability, performance and security. The ideal candidate for this position can prioritize mission critical tasks and coordinate the expansion of our systems so updates and other maintenance tasks don’t get in the way of daily operations. We’re interested in automating as many of our processes as possible.

  • Managing and monitoring all existing infrastructure systems to ensure availability, scalability and performance
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting incidents across the whole stack including root cause analysis
  • Installing and configuring and maintaining operating systems as well as new hardware and software

  • Ensure constant availability of technical resources
  • Write custom scripts to reduce the need for manual process
  • Maintain secure backup and redundancy strategies

  • BS or MS degree in Information Technology; Computer Science/Engineering or related subjects
  • 6+ years’ experience in system engineering and IT support required
  • Solid Cloud experience, preferably in Amazon Web services (esp. VPC, EC2, RDS Cloudformation, CloudWatch, OpsWorks ,IAM, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline)
  • Deep understanding of networking technology (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
  • Strong Technical knowledge of Windows 2008/2012, Unix/Linux, Windows 7/8/10, SQL Server, MS Office, and Active Directory
  • Proven track record of organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills to communicate systems proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems required
  • Experience with virtualization technology (e.g., VMWare, Microsoft Hyperv)
  • Experience creating automated scripts and software preferred
