As Infrastructure Engineering intern, you will get exposed to Amazon Web Services and will write tools to automate certain types of tasks, learn to help debug issues that impact our websites and will get exposed to a variety of third party tools that Infrastructure Engineering relies on. You will get experience writing scripts that solve a variety of problems. You will get to interact with other teams (and their interns) and participate in social gatherings and bike rides, to name a few.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Computer Science background
  • Good Familiarity with Operating Systems: Unix/ Linux
  • Ability to automate (Python, Perl, or Ruby) and Bash
  • Familiarity with regular expressions (matching w/ regular patterns)
  • Highly desirable: if they administer the computers for their department
