Senior CloudOps Engineer - Position Description

Support the development of Trek10’s growing CloudOps support service. Trek10 is building out a scalable, world-class “CloudOps Support” product and Services in support of our clients AWS environments, and we need to continue to grow out the team, services, and architecture to enable us to scale with the accelerating need.   • Automate process checks and monitor definitions (Mistake-proof support)

  • Develop a skill set that will set you up for long term professional growth and development
  • 8+ years experience in IT systems administration, Linux is preferred, but we have nothing against Windows.
  • Comfortable with the terminal. You know how to get things done with bash or powershell.
  • The ability to script and basic write basic programs in bash and at least one other programming language, preferably Python or node.js
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts including subnetting, stateful firewall concepts, and VPN technologies.
  • Proven background in technical problem solving and systems thinking
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services strongly preferred, not required
