Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing devices, services, and systems.
Researches, designs, and develops Data Center Solutions including Systems, Networking, Storage, IA, and EMS for large scale, multi-site solutions. Expert in current industry Data Center capabilities and functionality including; consolidation, virtualization (systems, storage and networking), applications virtualization, and cloud design. Experienced in service automation and provisioning, power consumption and distribution, cooling, floor loading, Understanding of Data Center implementation planning and sequencing, Development, Test and Government Accreditation process, Applications Migration, Data and User transition, Centralized Systems Operations, Backup, COOP, and other ITIL process disciplines that contribute to Total Cost of Ownership.
Defines architecture requirements and performance standards to meet or exceed management and customer specifications as well as be most cost effective. Evaluating and documenting Data Center design alternatives, and Cloud design alternatives and qualifying efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Masters degree preferred.
15-20 years of related systems engineering experience
Fouryears of hands on experience with cloud technologies with experience in at least two of the following: AWS, Azure, Google, Private Cloud, Platform as a Service, Software as a Service
