Job Summary: Responsible for support and operations of data center networking equipment to include load balancing, routing, and switching equipment. This includes incident management, working tickets, monitoring the status of the equipment, and reviewing/approving changes to the environment. Works to achieve operational compliance, identifying and addressing timely solutions to operational gaps and adherence to standards. Helps to ensure our compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures. Promotes a customer-driven service culture. Helps with and supports the continued focus on proactively identifying and addressing processes and automation issues impacting operations. Serves as a technical contributor for a highly technical group of engineers with deep knowledge. Serves as a support engineer and provides assistance to extended team as required.

Core Responsibilities: -Responsible for Data Center Networking support -Help to ensure all process and procedures are consistently applied. -Works to ensure adherence to standards and protocols -Works closely with internal OSS teams and third party vendors to improve tool utility / functionality and team adoption -Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of Methods and Procedure for new technology deployments including engineering design packages and configuration integrity to comply with national standards. -Responsible for self development that supports team initiatives. -Ensures collaborative integration of Operations Team across all NE&TO, OSS, Field and BU organizations. -Minimal direction required for job duties and high performance. -Be available for on-call and emergency situations 24x7. -Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. -Consistently exercise of sound judgment and discretion in matters of significance. -Normal work shift is overnight. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work overnight work shift nights and weekends, Variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Job Specification: - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent - Engineering, Computer Science - Generally requires 2-5 years related experience

Certifications: CCNA Preferred but not required

-Knowledge of routing, switching and load balancing environment -Small to large network support experience with a data center focus -Previous operational experience -Knowledge of and previous experience with different vendors equipment (Juniper/Cisco/Brocade/F5)
