BluVector, Inc. is looking for a Development Operations and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This position features an extremely competitive salary with high influencer status. The candidate will be exposed to and use a broad range of current and future technologies.  The candidate will be responsible for the development operations lifecycle maintenance, and platform system software selection testing and deployment. The candidate will also aid the IT team in support of management and deployment of enterprise infrastructure equipment and software. As developers generate software packages encompassing new features, improvements and bug fixes, it will be the candidate’s responsibility to manage infrastructure resources and scaling of software components to meet evolving capacity needs for the entire software development lifecycle.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience with Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora, or Ubuntu)
  • 7+ years of developing development operations platforms in support of a development team and the software development lifecycle
  • 5+ with KVM/ESX virtual environments
  • Experience and managing enterprise class virtualization software (OpenStack, Ovirt, Xen, ESXi)
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, Java, and C++ languages and build frameworks Ex: (Python:PIP/Setuptools, Java:Maven)
  • 3+ Years deploying cloud PaaS technologies and managing PaaS technologies (OpenShift, AWS)
  • Experience with software package and deployment
