Come join the CxT Operations Group as a Senior DevOps Engineer.  We operate and support the applications and services which our thousands of Sales and Care agents and our customers rely on daily. 

Current Projects will include:

 

Enabling CI/CD for Salesforce, including automating Salesforce release and deployments

Further roll-out of video for care agents

Integrating new technologies into our Sales and Care platform for our Global workforce

Developing dashboards that give a clear picture of the use and performance of our applications across our 8 – 12K agents.

 

Responsibilities:

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Responsible for driving operational excellence for our CRM applications
  • Create a DevOps framework for our SalesForce and associated applications, including CI/CD capabilities, Configuration Management, and Source Code Management
  • Manage incidents and outages for our CRM applications and handle production support in general for these systems
  • Help to develop and improve our monitoring and dashboards
  • Driving ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools & processes BU and Intuit-wide
  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years related experience
  • At least 2 years SalesForce Operations experience
  • 5+ years experience in App Ops/Devops role with a hands-on role in a large-scale production environment.
  • Good understanding and experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, Maven)
  • Experience in Configuration Management tools Chef or Puppet
  • Experience in SCM tools (SVN, Git) - Branching Strategy, Merging, Pull Requests etc
  • Strong knowledge in Linux Server administration
  • Experience in Apache, Nginx, Jboss and Tomcat
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and Nagios
  • Proficient with at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash)
  • Hands on experience with AWS: Building a highly available and scalable stack (VPC, EC2, ELB, IAM, Route53, DynamoDB, ECS, CloudWatch) or a similar IAAS product
  • Experience in supporting large scale java based production applications.
  • Strong teamwork skills, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication.
  •
