This Sr. Epic Resolute Build Analyst  (Clinical Applications Professional4)provides technical leadership and performs a variety of duties relating to the Clinical Information Systems applications, specifically Epic’s Resolute applications. Responsibilities include: Providing leadership and serving as technical resource to the team; Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating information systems for the organization; Participating in planning, developing, training, implementation, and evaluation of Epic Resolute applications and connected systems to support ongoing operations and ensure development, evaluation, and ongoing support for all components of the program.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Associate or bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with analysis, build, implementation and support of healthcare information systems.
  • Experience implementing an electronic medical record.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and analyze applicability and appropriateness, and develop and efficient work flow and subsequent computerized process.
  • System analysis and design knowledge needed to understand functional requirements and translate these functions as applicable to computerized processing.
  • Application of appropriate methods and tools to the systems development life cycle as related to informatics.
  • Proficient in office automation software (work processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation such as MS Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of operational practices and principles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading information system projects in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with large-scale databases.
  • Experience directing high-end technical staff.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools
  • Working knowledge of total computer environment including hardware, operating system software and application software
  • Experience working with healthcare revenue/billing systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development is
  • Experience supporting healthcare billing office systems
  • Experience working with interfaced/integrated multi-vendor applications
  • Academic institution or large integrated health systems experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of University policies and procedures.
