Schrödinger’s mission is to revolutionize drug discovery through the use of breakthrough computational methods. We are currently looking for outstanding individuals to join our drug discovery group and contribute to our rapidly expanding portfolio of drug discovery collaborations.

Our drug discovery group of over 40 scientists includes designers, modelers, computational chemists, medicinal chemists, crystallographers, biochemists, and biologists. The group is supported by more than 100 software developers and engineers. Three of the programs we’ve worked on in the past 5 years have progressed into the clinic and an additional one is expected to enter clinical trials next year.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Work in small teams to construct, customize, test and maintain enterprise chemical informatics systems for mission critical projects
  • Scope, plan and complete complicated system deployments and upgrades
  • Interface frequently with Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers to solve business and technical problems
  • Be an approachable source of knowledge for end-users of the systems you manage
  • Translate end-user needs into actionable tickets for Engineers and Product Managers
  • You are detail oriented
  • You use a belt and suspenders when working on mission critical systems

  • Proficient at administering Linux
  • Demonstrated ability to program in a modern language (e.g. Python, Golang, etc.)
