The DevOps Engineer will create, and support tools that enable applications to be built, deployed, and monitored

Essential Functions

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Implementation and support of continuous build and deployment systems; providing development team with guidance on best practices
  • Modernization and support of internal monitoring tools; development of metrics and dashboards
  • Continuously Integrate patching, systems configuration, and security
  • Production support and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining build and deployment systems, logging, monitoring tools
  • Experience working in a continuous integration workflow
  • Experience with JavaScript, Puppet, and Jenkins
  • Experience with Git, or similar SCM systems
  • Experience with object-oriented coding, preferably C#
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, Statsd, Packer, or Docker preferred, but not required
  • Understanding of RESTful principlesExperience across Windows, Linux
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to innovate and deliver within realistic and established timelines
  • Willingness and ability to adapt/learn new technologies and best practices
