Desired Skills and Experience

  • play a large role in shaping the system architecture and ensure the high stability and scalability of our internal and customer-oriented systems
  • be responsible for the monitoring and operation of our infrastructure, systems, and services (incl. Nginx, MySQL, PHP, RabbitMQ, Solr)
  • guarantee the smooth operation of our internal IT together with your Help Desk Team
  • gladly pass along your know-how and experience to your team and act as a liaison between your team and other departments
  • a degree in IT or other relevant technical training with at least 5 years of work experience
  • experience with Linux (Debian) and MySQL administration
  • knowledge of the automation of deployments (CI/CD) and configuration management (e.g. Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
  • experience with networks, firewalls, web server administration, virtualization, load balancing, monitoring, high availability solutions and scripting (e.g. bash, PHP, Ruby)
  • ability to work under pressure, pragmatic, communicative, and have experience leading a team
  • very good German and English skills
