We are looking for a candidate who will help us maintain our Linux and Mac computer infrastructure in good order. There are two types of tasks you can expect from the job.

The first type, which will take about two thirds of your time, involves maintaining the computers we own, and help administer our network and environment. The particular jobs here will include

The other part of the job includes working with our cloud-based infrastructure, in which our products are installed. Here you’ll be working with our developers to keep their continuous integration in order, and to make sure that our product makes use of the cloud features to maximise the scalability and performance. You will be taking part in the design phase, implementation and maintenance of the solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • setting up the employees’ computers and accounts
  • maintaining the infrastructure to automatically keep the computers updated with the latest security patches
  • keeping up-to-date documentation about our processes and policies.
  • maintaining and securing our network and VoIP phones
  • helping our employees with their computer problems such as installing software and drivers, or debugging and fixing simple problems with hardware
  • training our employees in the use Google Suite applications, such as e-mail or calendar.
