The primary focus will be to design, architect and implement technical solutions using Nasdaq’s standard PDLC (project development life cycle) process that encompasses various stages of the software development based on conducting a risk assessment.

  • Design, code and unit test software programs
  • Debug and troubleshoot technical problems
  • Document artifacts like Functional Description Document, Design Document, Test Plan/Results etc.
  • Meet with Listing and Market Operations team on a weekly basis – to provide progress reports on current projects and scope out future projects
  • Develop project plans and schedules
  • Orchestrate the deployment of projects by coordinating releases with System Administrator, DBA and AMG
  • Support the migration of applications for tech refreshes and network changes
  • Liaise with external vendors for ingesting different types of datasets
  • Liaise with internal and external customers by giving them access to datasets
  • Develop and execute integration test strategies with downstream systems
  • Education Required: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a similar discipline
  • Experience Required: Minimum 6-7 years in .Net environment
  • Strong Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Excellent Teamwork and Collaboration Skills
  • Experience in ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, Oracle, PLSQL
  • Data Modeling and ETL experience
  • Good knowledge of Unix (Sun Solaris OS) and shell scripting
  • Knowledge to write and execute unit, integration and regression test cases
  • Very Strong ANSI SQL knowledge
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in Agile Methodology preferred
  • Good working knowledge in database application tuning for performance and scalability
  • Experience with version control systems, preferable TFS
